A dainty package rests
In your hands

A box of pink and red
A beautiful parcel

A tiny representation
Of the heart
That you have to offer

A heart
That I will gratefully take,
Shall you grant it

A heart I shall cherish,
Shall I have the fortune
To receive it.

I stare at the chocolates
In your hands

In my heart,
I wonder
Will I have the honor?
