Roses

A Shower of Petals,
From the Sky,

A Banquet of Roses,
In Your Arms.

A Stringed Bow,
Dances Over a Violin.

Beautiful Music,
Resounds the Space.

You Kneel,
A Smile Decorates Your Lips,

Out Spill the Words,
“Will you Marry Me?”

An Elegant Black Box,
Appears In Your hand.

A Silver Ring,
Shines from within.

Arms Wrap Around You,
Your Smile Becomes a Grin.

“Yes!”

A Beautiful Exclamation,
Fills Your Ears.

Elation Warms Your Heart,
The World Suddenly Perfect.

Roses Still In Your Hands,
You Return the Embrace,
Smiling at the Future,
That Lies Ahead.
