Precious brown treats

Hide in a lovely box,
A memorable parcel
Wrapped in pink ribbons

Remaining utterly still,
They lie
In their heart-shaped home

Waiting in silence,
In eager anticipation.
For their unravel

Patiently,
They wait
For their reveal.

Heartstrings abuzz,
They eagerly await

For the moment
Of their melting.

For the moment
When shared enjoyment
Melds two together.

Tasted with the taster,
The loved with the lover.

Passed,
From one pair of hands
To another

A special gift is delivered,
A special surprise to remember,
A precious memory between lovers.
