Bouquet
Lovely colors
Wrapped together
In a bundle
A beautiful bouquet
From which the sweet scent
Of a lovely perfume
Proceeds
Festooned with
A rosy chiffon,
With elegance unmatched
Delicate and fragile
But a precious treasure
No less
A priceless beauty,
Though not meant to last,
A proof of nature’s bounty
And all things
Deemed lovely
A representation,
Of the joys between people
A symbol,
Of mutual concern and care
Delicately wrapped,
In their decorative
Paper attire,
They silently speak,
And bring us warmth
They quietly whisper,
And bring us relief
They brightly color,
And bring us happiness
With but,
Seemingly silent
Gestures,
They bring light and color
To our days
So regardless of
What people may say
The flowers are here
To stay
