Hard-Boiled Egg
A fissure formed
On the outermost layer
Of an otherwise unblemished
White shell
A soft,
Jelly like substance
Gently wobbled
Out of the expanding crack
A snowy white
Glimmers from within
As the barrier
Falls away
A tasty treasure
Emerges.
Bursting out
From the fallen fragments.
Add a little salt
And its ready
To be savored
A beautiful egg
And all
Its wonderous flavors
