My Friend
A Warm Smile,
A Kind Embrace,
Joyous Laughter,
Wonderful Memories.
A Welcoming Hand,
An Encouraging Smile,
A Persistent Presence,
Priceless Treasures.
Shared Pain,
Shared Happiness,
Shared Kindness,
Mutual Concern,
An Irreplaceable Bond.
In Came Adulthood,
Bearer of Maturity,
Dispeller of Magic,
Thief of Fantasies.
Granting Realization,
That Stole You Away,
Taking What Was Mine.
An Unpreventable Loss.
Forcefully,
Painfully,
Gripping My Hand,
He Makes Me Wave.
An Expected Goodbye,
But A Painful One No Less.
After all,
He Tells,
You Were But,
An Imaginary Friend.
But A Best Friend Even So.
My Best Friend No Less.
A Friend that I Will Miss.
A Friend I Will Never Forget.
A Friend Occupying My Memory.
A Friend Living in My Heart.
Feelings and Realities,
Time Can Never Truly Rob Away.
