Preserved
Rainbows bounce relentlessly
Off a crystalline structure
Off every fracture
And every fissure
Of that precious treasure
Inside the beautiful prism
Preserves a maiden
A remarkable beauty
With a face so dear
So pristine,
That observers tremble in fear
The very moment
That they draw near
As though,
Before them
Stood a forbidden jewel
Unfit,
For the average person
To see
Unfit,
For a Lowly
Commoner’s appraisal
Such otherworldly beauty
So unrivaled
And so pure
Making onlookers want to soar
At the thought of
What else remains in store
In this cavern’s allure
